A new interior for the famous two Michelin Star restaurant Aan de Poel in Amstelveen was needed. A fire completely destroyed the inner part of the restaurant, leaving only the construction and facades intact. In two months’ time the restaurant was completely rebuild, with a design based on the specific style of the restaurant during the past ten years, completed with an updated atmosphere.
The plan of the restaurant has the shape of a scallop. An open scallop is the leading concept for the interior design.
The wine wall and the open kitchen are the visible two main elements of the two star Michelin restaurant.
